Hargeisa (Somali Commentator)Undertaking his daily activities, the deputy Minister of Education and Higher Studies Hon Yusuf Osman Garas has cut the ribbon at a new primary school in Waddo-bariis town – a town in the south-west of Hargeisa.
Funded by Same-wade local organization, the school will provide education to the children residing the town. In his remarks, the deputy Education Minister Hon Yusuf Osman Garas stated the vitality of providing education to all people.
Spurring the residents of the town, the Deputy Minister said, “I am pleased to attend at this great event of the opening ceremony of Waddo-bariis school. On behalf of the Ministry of Education, we promise to provide the new school for all required materials. I also avow that the MoE will bring food to help the school become a boarding one. ” Lastly, the deputy Minister called the residents to fully understand the importance of education and keep their children in studying. “I all urge you to monitor your children’s performance. Please make sure that the attendance of your children is always perfect,” concluded the Deputy Minister of Education and Higher Studies.
