Hargeisa – Somali Commentator – Following the tremendous accomplishment at SLNECB exams, Noradin Boys Secondary school has awarded a brand new car to the topmost student throughout Somaliland.

Earned the highest grades, Saad Mahamed Mohamoud was amongst the brilliant students that have been studying at Noradin secondary schools for the last four years.

Amid cheers and applause from gathered crowds including students of Noradin Secondary School and other distinguished guests attended at the conferment ceremony held inside the school campus.

The rewarding ceremony also attracted a large number of dignitaries including renowned religious clerics, top brass officials of Education Ministry, teachers, intellectuals and many other important figures.

While congratulating students, teachers, parents and Noradin schools at large, the principal of Noradin Boys Abdirahman Mohamed Ali said, “It is our pleasure to honor the top ten students of Noradin schools generally and Saad Mahamed Mohamoud in particular for his dramatic success in National Exams.”

Expressing the stellar performance of Noradin students, the Director General of MoE Prof Ali Abdi Jama appreciated Noradin Secondary School students for their hard work, diligence and dedication during the years of studying. He likewise urged students to make use of the opportunity as it knocks the door once not twice, ‘Today you, Noradin students, have a good chance, we had not our times – as we were learning schools amidst the scramble of Siyad Barre regime.’

In his remarks, the renowned religious cleric Sh Aadan H Mahamoud Hiirey better known as Adan Siiro, reiterated the need the improve Somaliland’s education and called the schools to follow the footprints of Noradin. Sh Siiro lauded the systematic approach of Noradin schools and the continuous victories that his students attained so far.

Last, but not the least, the deputy directing general of Noradin Schools Mr Ismael Mahamoud Akush has awarded a brand new car to Somaliland’s top one student at SLNECB exams Mr Saad Mahamed Mohamoud, while honoring an extravagant computer to the to another top ten student.
